This is the land the Pawnee and Arapaho Native Americans used to roam. The view is
looking southeast, over the beautiful rolling prairie land, towards Pine Bluffs, Wyoming
USA. You have to check out the sunrises. They are great!! I love looking at the prairie.
Some like the ocean, some the mountains, but I love the prairie. The view is
facing south, south east towards the town of Pine Bluffs. The Nebraska Stateline
is on the far left, and the Colorado Stateline is straight off in the
distance.
Oct 2, 2006 -- I finally got up the ladder and moved the camera. It
is now horizontal, and I moved it a bit to the East. You can now see the
corrals, and possibly the horses when they come to water.
May 17, 2006 -- A bird hit my camera. I have to
get out the ladder and re-center the camera, sorry it is off kilter.

-- I Installed a second camera in the original
location. I will probably move to a different location, but it is setup to
see how it is going to work out. I may even be
able to set it up so that users can pan it from side to side and up and
down.
Sep 11, 2004 -- I moved the camera from my house, to the top of my
barn, it is pointed more south now. Pine Bluffs, is on the far left of the
picture.
Jun 25, 2004 -- I'm trying out a different camera. I'm trying out an
IP based Camera. It REPLACES a computer, monitor, keyboard, a camera, and
a wifi hookup in one small package!
Dec 21, 2002 -- Again a camera change. The camera went out a few
weeks ago. Dead, dead, dead. I had another camera, but it was a USB
camera, and my old software didn't work. So I'm in the process of trying
out new software. Looks like it may work.
Aug 23, 2002 -- Prairie camera change again.
I removed the camcorder that I was using since Jan 14, 2002. A good
friend sent me a CCTV color camera. It has a lot better picture quality. I
have zoomed the camera to point to Pine Bluffs,
about 10 miles away as the crow flies.
Jan 14, 2002 -- Prairie camera. I removed the old old video camera with
the broken lens, and put up a newer (still older) video camera, but the
zoom, and focus works. I have zoomed the camera to point to Pine Bluffs,
about 10 miles away as the crow flies.
